Built, filled and ready for the shop floor

Display assembly and filling is not a side activity for us. It is one of our most frequently executed services, and the volumes we handle give us an edge in routine and accuracy.

Most of the displays we make are dolly displays. A dolly display stands on a dolly or roll container and goes directly onto the shop floor. We assemble the cardboard display, fill it with the products and make sure everything is correct: the right quantities, the right placement, neatly finished. The display is ready for the floor. Over 10,000 dolly displays per year leave our facility, for brands in the food sector. Think confectionery and sauces, but also craft beers. Those displays end up on the floors of retailers such as Albert Heijn and Jumbo. From small displays that ship two to a pallet, to large floor displays on a dolly.

Alongside dolly displays, SRP is a second speciality. SRP stands for Shelf Ready Packaging: a display placed directly on the shelf, immediately presentable to the consumer. Smaller than a dolly display, but the same attention to accuracy and presentation.

We handle the complete process. Display materials and products are delivered to us. We build, fill, check and prepare for transport — all in-house, without additional movements. And if the displays are not needed straight away, we store them and release them in phases when the store or distribution centre is ready. More and more brands are outsourcing their display assembly to a specialist partner. Those who do so with Service Pack have one point of contact for the entire process.

Displays ready for dispatch at Service Pack BV

Ready for the shop floor

A dolly display stands on a dolly or roll container and goes directly into the store. We build the cardboard display, fill it completely and ensure the presentation is correct. No extra handling needed in the store. With over 10,000 per year, dolly displays are our biggest speciality.

Straight onto the shelf

SRP displays are smaller and go directly onto the retail shelf. The store associate simply places the display on the shelf — ready for the consumer. We build, fill and check every SRP with the same care as our large dolly displays: accurate and repeatable.

FAQ: outsourcing display assembly

What is a dolly display? +

A dolly display is a cardboard retail display mounted on a dolly or roll container. It is delivered fully assembled and filled, ready to go directly onto the shop floor. Because no additional handling is needed in the store, dolly displays are very popular with FMCG brands. Displays on the shop floor also attract a lot of consumer attention, making them an effective tool for promotions and seasonal campaigns.

What is SRP and how does it differ from a dolly display? +

SRP stands for Shelf Ready Packaging: a display placed directly on the shelf, immediately presentable to the consumer. An SRP is smaller than a dolly display and intended for shelf placement rather than the floor. We build and fill both types at high volumes.

What volumes do you handle for display assembly? +

We build over 10,000 dolly displays per year. That gives us the routine, capacity and experience to handle large runs accurately and quickly. Smaller volumes are of course also possible.

Can you store displays and deliver them in phases? +

Yes. Displays are often built in a large batch but delivered in phases to stores or distribution centres. We store the completed displays in our warehouse and release them when you or your customer needs them.

Which sectors do you build displays for? +

We build displays for a wide range of sectors, but most frequently for food and beverages — think confectionery, sauces and craft beers. We also work for personal care and other FMCG categories. Requirements vary by sector; we align our process with your specifications and those of your retail customer.
