Your packaging work fully taken care of. Service Pack handles everything from repacking and labelling to assembly and bundling, from one location, with one point of contact.
Co-packing (also known as co-packaging or contract packing) is an umbrella term for outsourcing packaging and contract work. Not a new service, just another name for what Service Pack has been doing for over 30 years.
Whether you want to repack products for a new market, apply labels for a retailer, or combine loose components into a ready-to-sell kit: these are all forms of co-packing. As a co-packer in the Netherlands with over 30 years of operational experience, we know exactly what it involves. You'll notice that in how we plan, communicate and execute.

Storage
Co-packing looks different for every company. Below are a few concrete examples of assignments we carry out on a regular basis.
An importer receives containers with products from Asia. After unloading, products are directly fitted with EU-compliant labels and repacked into retail packaging, ready for distribution without an extra step in the chain.
An FMCG brand wants to offer its existing product in a limited seasonal pack. We repack, build the retail displays and prepare everything for direct delivery to the DC, on time and to specification.
An e-commerce brand wants to sell two popular products as a bundle. We combine them, apply the correct EAN label and deliver ready-to-sell to the fulfilment centre. Or we handle the fulfilment ourselves.
A manufacturer receives products back that do not meet retailer specifications. We inspect, rework and relabel the batch, so delivery can still go ahead.
Food and organic products are subject to additional requirements for the packaging process. Service Pack is Skal certified alongside ISO 9001, meaning we are authorised to carry out co-packing assignments for organic products.
Think of applying multilingual market labels to beverages, repacking organic products for a new market, or assembling gift sets for the food sector.

The most requested form of co-packing. Repacking products for a new market, retailer or seasonal campaign, including retail specification processing and volumes from thousands to hundreds of thousands of units.
From loose components to ready-to-sell kits, retail displays or gift sets.
More about assembly →EAN, FNSKU, CE and multilingual market labels on product, box or pallet. Quality control per batch.
More about labelling →Products that do not meet specifications are corrected, reworked and released again.
More about rework →Co-packing combined directly with storage and shipping. Processed and out the door.
More about fulfilment →Flexible storage without long-term commitments. Co-packing and warehousing directly linked.
More about warehousing →Many co-packers execute what you bring them. We think along with you. That means we take the time to understand what a client needs, ask questions when something is unclear, and think about the best approach before we start. That sounds obvious, but in practice it makes a significant difference.
Taking care of everything is not just a sales term for us. If a client does not want to order stickers themselves, we arrange that. If there is no artwork for the labels yet and the client wants us to help with that, we guide them through it too. We are used to working with clients who are outsourcing for the first time and are not quite sure how it works. That is not a problem — it is simply how we operate.
And we do not say no easily. Not on volumes, not on lead times, not on complexity. If a client needs something, we look at how we can make it happen. That is why clients stay with us.
Thirty years in logistics also means thirty years of built-up relationships. We have a network of partners our clients directly benefit from: hauliers, label printers, packaging suppliers and other logistics service providers we have worked with for years. If something needs to be arranged outside our own walls, we know who to call.
Co-packing (also known as co-packaging or contract packing) is the outsourcing of packaging and contract work to a specialised party. Think of repacking products for a new market, applying labels for a retailer, assembling kits or gift sets, or reworking a batch that does not meet requirements. These are all forms of co-packing. The term is broad and covers many different operations in practice. At Service Pack, it is not a by-product alongside something else: co-packing is what we have been doing every day for over 30 years, for companies across a wide range of sectors.
Co-packing covers the physical processing of products: repacking, labelling, assembling, bundling. The end result is a product ready for distribution, retail or shipping. Fulfilment covers what comes next: storing, processing orders and shipping to the end customer. The two are related but not the same. The practical advantage of working with Service Pack is that both can be handled under one roof. Products arrive, are processed through co-packing and go straight into the fulfilment process. That saves logistical steps and additional transport costs.
There is no fixed minimum. We handle assignments ranging from a few hundred units to hundreds of thousands per batch. Most clients start with a concrete assignment and then build a structural partnership, but that is not a requirement. Rates depend on the nature of the work, materials required and desired frequency. We provide a tailored quote for each assignment.
Yes. Organic products are subject to additional requirements for the packaging process. Not everyone is authorised to pack or process organic goods. Service Pack is Skal certified, meaning we meet the requirements for processing organic products in compliance with European regulations. We are also ISO 9001 certified for quality management. In practice, we carry out label work on organic beverages, repack organic food products and assemble seasonal sets for the food sector.
As quickly as you need. If you want us to start the same day, we will. We are not set up to keep clients waiting. Flexibility is built into how we work: if an assignment is urgent, we treat it as urgent. What we do need is a clear work instruction and the goods on site. Once that is in place, we can get started.
Yes. Our clients range from large international brands that structurally outsource co-packing to smaller importers or start-ups with a one-off assignment. The size of your company matters less than the clarity of the assignment. What we need to work well: a description of the desired end result, the products, the volumes and the deadline. Based on that, we provide an estimate and quote. Come to us with a concrete assignment and we will look at how we can make it work.
There is no standard rate for co-packing, as the work varies significantly per assignment. Factors that determine the price include: the type of operations (labelling, repacking, assembly), volume per batch, packaging materials required, complexity of the work instruction and desired frequency. We always work on a custom quote basis. Send us a description of your assignment and we will respond within one working day with an estimate.
