Your hub in the European supply chain

Outsourcing hub services to Service Pack means an efficient and reliable intermediate stop in your supply chain, without investing in your own site or infrastructure. We handle cross-docking, consolidation and distribution from Etten-Leur, combined with value-added services on location.

Our location 30 minutes from Rotterdam and Antwerp makes us a logical hub for importers, manufacturers and distributors. Goods arrive, are processed, and move on to the DC or end destination, quickly and in a controlled manner.

Hub services are almost always combined with other services. Containers are unloaded, products are labeled or repacked on site before moving on to the DC. One location, one point of contact.

Entering the EU market? GPSR-ready from day one

Since 13 December 2024, the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) requires that every consumer product sold in the EU has a responsible economic operator established in the EU. The name, postal address and electronic contact details of that responsible person must appear on the product or its packaging before it is placed on the European market.

For brands outside the EU this is a practical hurdle: goods often arrive in Europe before they carry the required details. Our hub solves that. Land your inventory in Etten-Leur and we apply GPSR-compliant labels with the responsible person details, multilingual labeling and retail barcodes, directly after container unloading.

That turns a compliance requirement into a logistics advantage: one European base where your products arrive, become fully compliant and move onward into distribution. Planning a full market entry? See how we help international brands and manufacturers enter Europe.

GPSR compliance labeling
Responsible person details, warnings and contact information applied per product or batch.
Relabeling existing stock
Stock produced before the rules changed is relabeled or stickered so it can still be sold in the EU.
Multilingual labels
Language requirements per EU country handled in a single run.

FAQ: hub services outsourcing

When is outsourcing hub services a good choice? +

Outsourcing hub services is a good choice when you need an intermediate stop in your supply chain without investing in your own location and infrastructure. Service Pack provides cross-docking, consolidation and distribution from Etten-Leur, combined with value-added services such as labeling and repacking on the same site.

What is cross-docking and when is it useful? +

Cross-docking means goods are received, sorted and immediately forwarded to the next destination without prolonged storage. It is useful when you want speed in the chain, want to reduce transport costs or need to consolidate multiple shipments for efficient transit.

What is the difference between hub services and warehousing? +

Warehousing focuses on storage over a longer period. Hub services are aimed at transit: goods arrive, are processed if needed, and move on quickly. In practice, both services are often combined.

Can value-added services be performed at the hub? +

Yes. The combination of transit with labeling, repacking or rework is what distinguishes our hub. Products are labeled or repackaged on location so they enter the next link in the chain fully compliant.

What types of businesses benefit from outsourcing hub services? +

Hub services are suitable for importers processing sea or air freight, manufacturers needing an intermediate stop, and distributors wanting to consolidate multiple national or European shipments. Our location 30 minutes from Rotterdam and Antwerp makes us a logical hub.

How quickly can shipments be processed and forwarded? +

This depends on the type of processing required. Pure cross-docking without additional services can happen very quickly. When labeling or repacking is linked to the transit, we plan the lead time in consultation with you.

What does the GPSR mean for brands outside the EU? +

Since 13 December 2024 the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) requires that consumer products sold in the EU have a responsible economic operator established in the EU. The name, postal address and electronic contact details of this responsible person must appear on the product or its packaging. Non-EU brands therefore need both a responsible person and labeling that shows these details before their products can be sold in the EU.

Can Service Pack make my products GPSR-compliant at the hub? +

We apply the required labeling: responsible person details, warnings and language versions, per product or per batch, before your goods move into European distribution. Appointing the responsible person itself is a legal step you arrange with your importer or authorised representative. We make sure every product carries the correct details.
